2021 Sequim Lavender Festival and COVID-19

Answers to some of your Questions regarding the Sequim Lavender Festival and the COVID-19 Virus

The Sequim Lavender Growers Association regrettably needs to declare that the Sequim Lavender Festival Street Fair, held in Carrie Blake Park over Lavender Weekend the 3rd weekend in July, has been cancelled for 2021 due to the uncertainty around large, outdoor events for the summer.

The Sequim Lavender Growers Association FREE Farms, at this point, plan to be open to guests, with safety protocols in effect.  More information about the farms and what they will offer will be posted soon.

The health and safety of the Sequim Lavender Festival participants, guests and the Sequim Community are our highest priority, and given the guidelines set forth by the Governor of WA State regarding this ongoing global health crisis, the Sequim Lavender Growers Association felt it was best to act now to cancel the event in the park that draws thousands from all over the world.

The good news is that the lavender fields will bloom, and local lavender farms are working hard to develop plans so they can welcome guests safely, when the time is right.

Please check back for information on who is open and what kinds of activities they are planning as we get closer to the summer lavender season.  The Sequim Lavender Growers Association will soon publish  information about each SLGA farm.  Watch this website for a download version.

Again, at this point, we expect that the lavender farms will be open, we are only officially cancelling the event in the park where 1000’s would be gathering.  More info to come on that soon – watch our website.

The Sequim Lavender Growers Association hope that you and your family are safe and healthy!!
