Many people ask us “what makes our Lavender oil superior“.  Aside from the fact that we are one of the few ‘petal-only’ distillers, there is a little-known secret that many large suppliers of essential oils dilute their oils with cheaper carriers to increase their profit margin.  A practice which is often done at the manufacturing level, this dilution process allows some suppliers to sell their product at prices that are occasionally lower than ours. Since there are no regulations requiring disclosure of this, it is often unstated.  These elevated carrier levels drastically affect product quality and, in many cases, will force you to use as much as 5 to 10 times the fragrance oil that you would need using our top quality lavender and helichrysum oils.  Here at Lebec Oaks Lavender Farms, we do not condone nor practice this deceptive process.
